Hall Farm Barns are a collection of beautifully built properties which feature restored 17th century stone work and exposed, original beams. The six properties have been lovingly crafted to maximise their location, heritage and modern building techniques.

Hall Farm Barns are located in Sookholme, which is close of Mansfield. Mansfield is a modern town which has one of Britain’s largest open air markets. Most high street names can be found in the centre of town or in the new retail parks on the outskirts. The town centre also boasts many cafe’s, pubs and restaurants.

Local facilities
There are many opportunities for walking, fishing and other recreational activities close by, these include Sherwood Forest with its visitor Centre, Center Parks and the many landscaped former pit heads in the area which make ideal spaces for walking. The John Fretwell sporting complex is located a mile from Sookholme and Mansfield has 2 large leisure centres.

The beautiful surrounding countryside of North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire has much to offer. Hall Farm Barns is a development of lovingly restored barn conversions located in the village of Sookholme which dates back to Anglo Saxon times, surrounded by open countryside. The name Sookholme is derived from 2 Anglo Saxon words meaning rich land by a stream, the barns dateback to the 1700s.

Hall Farm Barns
are a group of newly converted 17th Century Barns. With solid stone walls of over 2 feet thick & exposed roof trusses these buildings have stunning features which must be seen to be appreciated. The barns are laid out in a traditional courtyard design but every property will have its own patio and lawned areas.

The peaceful village of Sookholme with its rural feel, ancient church and surrounded by breathtaking views and with close proximity to towns and cities offers the best of both worlds.

Sookholme is just a 10 minute drive away from the market town of Mansfield. Nottingham is an 18 mile drive, the nearest train station is just 1.2 miles away and Junction 29 of the M1 is 7 miles away, Sheffield 30 miles and Chesterfield 12 miles.
