This is the second floor we’ll be laying from Stories flooring, the first step is to prepare and prime the existing floor.
We are not using the usual self levelling compound from Screwfix this time but stopgap neoprene primer and stopgap 1200 levelling compound. The primer takes over four hours to go off so unfortunately it does add to the time of the job provides the best finish at a minimal increase in level where buildup is an issue.
